Advancing the practice of experience design*

Join a vibrant community of students and artists shaping the emergent field of experience design

Our Mission

Cultivate the practices &
community of experience designers AS THEY transform
the world

The Odyssey Works Foundation cultivates an empathetic vision for the field of experience design, transforming the world through a prism of perspectives.

Experience Design is

A revolutionary way of designing focused on the experience of the audience

It is a design methodology in which the final product is the experience of the user or the audience rather than the thing that is created. It has the power to transform any art or design practice that involves humans.

About Odyssey Works Foundation

From the organization that has been at the forefront of experience design for over two decades

The Odyssey Works Foundation is led by Abraham Burickson and Ayden LeRoux, along with esteemed Board Members Christopher Lin and Lea Redmond — together, are dedicated to shaping the future of experience design.

Committed to assisting students and artists in receiving accessible, personalized education, mentorship, feedback, and community building, through the Experience Design Certificate Program — the foundation ensures practitioners are set apart as an expert in the field and opens the door to substantial career growth.

"

The legacy of their work has been an undercurrent in the age of experiential theatre... In the past twenty years, odds are, you have been touched by their methods. It is no understatement to say that things would not be the same if Odyssey Works did not exist."
